This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is processed when you visit pidev.at or contact me through this website, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG).

Data I process
Contact form: when you send an enquiry I process the name, email address and any company, budget or message details you provide.
Server logs: my hosting provider may automatically process technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the time of the request, for security and operation.
Preferences: a functional cookie stores your chosen language; your theme choice and your cookie preferences are stored locally in your browser. These stay on your device and are not transmitted to me.
Purposes and legal basis
Contact data is used to respond to and handle your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, steps prior to a contract, and Art. 6(1)(f), my legitimate interest in answering enquiries).
Technical and log data is processed on the basis of my legitimate interest in a secure, functioning website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Recipients and processors
Email enquiries are delivered to and stored in my Google (Gmail) mailbox. As Google is a US provider, your data may be processed in the United States under appropriate safeguards (EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or standard contractual clauses). The website is hosted by Vercel; some technical data may be processed on infrastructure in the EU and/or the United States under appropriate safeguards.
I do not use advertising trackers and I do not sell your data. Anonymous, cookieless page-view statistics (Vercel Web Analytics, provided by Vercel Inc.) run only if you switch on the optional "Statistics" category in the cookie settings.
Retention
I keep enquiry data only as long as needed to handle your request and to meet legal retention obligations, after which it is deleted.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and to object to processing. You may also lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde, dsb.gv.at).
